2013 Ram Trucks Get Some Updates

Good news for anyone looking for a new HD or work truck. Ram plans to make its lineup more competitive and attractive than ever! Updates all around have improved the truck vastly and provide more options and customization than before. Slight tweaks to the front fascia, LED lighting on certain models, new wheels, power folding mirrors, and redesigned badges have all been added with the driver in mind. Everything about the truck has been designed to make it as appealing to companies and workers as possible.

New frame designs, suspension geometry, electrics and wiring, and engine choices are also available on the 2013 Rams. The 3500 will finally get the 5.7 liter V8 gasoline engine in addition to the 6.7 liter Cummins turbodiesel. The engines make 383 hp, 400 lb-ft and 370 hp and 850 lb-ft respectively. Electronic Stability Control is also finally making its way into the world of work trucks with the 2013 models. Additional cooling gear and a Ram Active Air system help keep the truck within peak operating temperature even on hot days.

Expect increased performance numbers all around. Fred Diaz, President and CEO of Ram , said that the performance increases should “shock the world” with how substantial they are.
