Just this week, a special edition Dodge Dart has been spotted near Auburn Hills, MI where the company headquarters reside. Whether this special edition will become available for customer or if it is a one-off show car produced for the SEMA show is still unclear. What is clear though is that the Dart is looking sporty in a matte grey paint job with some extra Mopar accessories.
Along with an aggressive looking flat paint job, the special edition Dart R/T was sporting a hood scoop; rear lip spoiler; and dark grey, ten-spoke, 19 inch wheels. Even if this exact car is not available for purchase, many of the Mopar accessories will become available as add-ons. While Dodge has never offered a matte paint job on a mass produced car like the Dart, other auto companies are starting to introduce the option. It wouldn’t be a far stretch to think you could choose for flat colors when ordering a Dart in the near future.
