Chrysler’s Own Olivier Francois Wins “Grand Brand Genius”

Olivier FrancoisJust last week at the 2012 Adweek Brand Genius Awards, Chrysler’s own Chief Marketing Officer, Olivier Francois was honored as the “Grand Brand Genius”, beating out nine other branding individuals. This annual award ceremony recognizes the top names in branding and advertising for the work they have done throughout the year. Of the ten “Brand Genius” honorees, Francois’ accomplishments stood out for their creativity and innovation.

Two of the ads that were of exceptional importance to Chrysler this year, the “It’s Halftime in America” and “Imported from Detroit” campaigns were headed by Francois. He personally convinced Clint Eastwood and Eminem to appear in these ads that successfully put Chrysler back on the map for car buyers.

Here at Cumberland Chrysler, we congratulate Olivier Francois on his accomplishments and hope that he will keep the good ads coming.
