Dodge Charger Updated for 2013

2013 Dodge Charger AWD SportFor 2013, the Dodge Charger gets several updates to keep it ahead of the competition. Just in time for the winter, the Charger now offers a new package. The AWD Sport package combines performance, handling, and efficiency along with attractive styling. This aggressive package is available on Dodge Charger SXT and SXT Plus AWD models and features the 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 and an incredibly efficient 8-speed transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters and sport mode. Minor tweaks to the engine including a new cold-air intake and a higher flow dual exhaust mean that 300 horsepower are now generated. AWD traction and control are constantly and automatically available. Whenever the Charger detects the need for AWD, the front axle is automatically engaged to provide greater handling capabilities. During normal driving, the front axle is disconnected and the car runs entirely on RWD power to conserve fuel while still retaining its sports car personality.

The real value for this special package is in the visual upgrades made to it. Special 19-inch aluminum wheels with gloss-black painted inserts are wrapped in all-season performance tires. The aggressive looking gloss-black paint is also applied to the front crosshair grille and grille surround up front. A body colored decklid spoiler completes the rear end while seats can be upholstered in either black cloth or premium black or red heated Nappa leather. Inside, the Charger AWD Sport features Beats Audio technology with a 12 channel amp that delivers true music at any volume.
