In the world of muscle cars, cars are often judged by their horsepower, and in the case of the 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat, it sets the bar extremely high.
With an incredible 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque coming out of the 6.2-liter Hemi Hellcat engine, Chrysler is calling this the most powerful production muscle car ever. It’s so powerful that every car will come with two keys, one red, and one black. The red one unleashes all 707 ponies, while the black one is what you would hand to the valet and keeps things down to 500 horsepower.
This awe-inspiring engine will be paired with the new TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission. In addition to the engine, the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has been completely redesigned to be the best possible muscle car on the market and even has an interior inspired by the classic 1971 Challenger.
The exciting 2015 Dodge Challenger and Challenger SRT lineup will start arriving at dealerships, including Cumberland Chrysler, within the next few months.
