The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT has proven that Jeeps can be great not only off-road, but on, since it was first revealed in 2011. It has only improved since then and is receiving some impressive updates for the 2015 model year.

Horsepower generated by the 6.4L HEMI V8 increases to 475 next year. The impressive power will go to all four wheels through a fully electronic 8-speed automatic transmission. This combination will send the 2015 Grand Cherokee SRT to 60mph in 4.8 seconds and a quarter mile in under 14 seconds. When you stomp on the gas, the weight shifts to the rear wheels, and the 2015 Grand Cherokee SRT will take advantage of this in Track mode and transfer more torque to the rear wheels for added traction.

This souped-up Grand Cherokee isn’t a one-trick pony either, it can tow up to 7,200 pounds when properly equipped so it can work as hard as it plays.

Big brakes are a must with all that power, and the Grand Cherokee SRT will stop from 60mph in just 116 feet thanks to six-piston Brembo front brakes and four-piston rear calipers. For those looking for calm within the storm, the new Active Noise Cancelling will provide a more peaceful interior.

A new Red Vapor special edition package will offer unique interior and exterior details.
