FCA manufacturing facilities have been ISO 50001– and OHSAS 18001-certified more than any other in the region. These represent standards for health, safety, and energy, by the Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series and International Organization for Standardization, respectively.
OHSAS 18001 focuses on worker health and safety while ISO 50001 focuses on energy management and conservation. More than thirty facilities across the United States, Canada, and Mexico were evaluated over the last year by an accredited third-party to determine how the FCA and other companies stacked up.
What does this mean for you? Well, without delving into all the legal and standardization mumbo-jumbo, it means that when you shop at Cumberland Chrysler Center, you can expect that the cars were manufactured with the utmost regard with health, safety, and energy!
