The Ram 1500 Night Package is a special edition model that has some truly unique features, according to Fiat-Chrysler. The sporty look includes things like a black grille surround, special badging, customized wheels, and added personality. The monochromatic package is truly aggressive, with other unique features like a 5.7-liter HEMI, black sidewall tires, and a 4×4 system.
“Much like our incredibly successful Ram Rebel, the Ram 1500 Night fills the growing customer demand for factory-custom trucks,” said Mike Manley, head of Ram. “Truck enthusiasts want vehicles that define their personality and style. The new Ram Night package builds upon the Ram Sport – one of the best looking trucks on the road – and adds black-out details that custom truck enthusiasts revere.”
The Night Package is now available on Regular Cab, Quad Cabs, and Crew Cab 1500 Sport models. You can get two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. There’s also an available 3.6-liter Pentastar engine in addition to the HEMI. These are just some of the options available if you check out the new Night Package.
You’ve probably heard a lot about self-driving cars recently, with many models showing up all over the market. Autonomous vehicle technologies help to make your safer, and they also make driving more relaxing. Read on to learn more about self-driving vehicle technologies.
According to Extreme Technology, self-driving vehicles come with a range of sensors and computers in order to function. This includes things like radar, GPS, cameras, and more. Sensory information is relayed to a central processer, which can perform corrective maneuvers in order to drive like an ordinary car. Some vehicles can even communicate with other vehicles thanks to improved connectivity, making collisions extremely rare.
Many self-driving vehicle technologies are currently used in models on the market. These are highly complex safety systems, including things like adaptive cruise control, lane-sensing technology, forward collision mitigation, and more. However, some automakers, including Fiat-Chrysler, are developing cars that can drive nearly independent of a driver.
Autonomous vehicle technologies date back to the 1920s and 1930s, though many of these systems were never perfected—until now. The first autonomous vehicles were developed mainly in university labs, including those at Carnegie Mellon and Bundeswahr in Germany. However, brands have recently starting taking over design, perfecting some of the most important breakthroughs in decades. The future of driving is bound to change like never before.
The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is the latest addition to the brand’s lineup and it brings plenty of innovative features along with it. The new minivan replaces the outgoing Town & Country, leaving plenty of room for development and success. The engineers and designers pulled out all the stops designing the latest addition to the Chrysler family. The Chrysler Pacifica is bound to top its segment when it comes to safety.
The Pacifica is built with over 100 standard and available safety and security features, ensuring that this minivan is among the best of the best. Among them are several advanced technologies designed to make the road safer.
The 360-degree Surround View Camera ensures that drivers can keep an eye on every angle surrounding their vehicle on the touchscreen. Meanwhile, ParkSense Rear Park Assist with Stop and Rear Cross-Path Detection ensures that even if you can’t see it, the Pacifica will.
Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go will automatically adjust the Pacifica’s speed according to the vehicle in front of it. The system will also come to a stop then continue driving, making any drive that much easier. Complete with Forward Collision Warning and Lane Departure Warning, the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is the ultimate minivan when it comes to safety.
