Chrysler Town and Country Earns The Detroit News’ Best Family Hauler Award

Best Family Hauler

The Detroit News has announced the winners of their annual Readers’ Choice Awards, and here at Cumberland Chrysler Center, we can’t say that we are the least bit surprised that the Chrysler Town and Country minivan snagged the award for the Best Family Hauler. In fact, this marks the 10th consecutive year that the Town and Country has taken home the coveted title.

To select the winning vehicles in each category, 100 jurors are randomly selected by The Detroit News, who then rate each vehicle.

The Chrysler Town and Country offers a number of features that make it appealing for a family of any size. From its comfortable and spacious interior to its efficient, yet powerful powertrain, the Town and Country offers something for everyone.

Inside, shoppers will find a unique seating and storage system with standard Stow ‘n Go Seats, making it easy to configure the interior seating to meet the everyday needs of any family. Under the hood, buyers will find that the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine, a three-time “Ward’s 10 Best Engine” winner, puts out 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.

“30 years after we invented the segment, the 2015 Chrysler Town & Country minivan continues to appeal to consumers seeking versatility and functionality surrounded by style and more than 40 available safety, security and technology features,” said Al Gardner, President and Chief Executive Officer – Chrysler Brand, FCA US in a news release.  “Selected as ‘Best Family Hauler’ by The Detroit News panel is both appreciated and humbling. It is also proof that we continue to listen to our customers and offer them innovative products that help them to define their lifestyles.”
